The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) formally welcomed 367 incoming cadets of Class 2030 during their oath-taking and reception rites on Saturday at Borromeo Field at Fort General Gregorio H. del Pilar in Baguio City, BusinessWorld reported.
The new batch comprises 290 male and 77 female cadets, received by Second Class Cadet Squad Leaders. The ceremony marks the beginning of their rigorous training to become officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Class 2030 will undergo a four-year academic and military program at the PMA, the country's premier military institution, which has produced generations of military leaders.
