Ayala Healthcare Holdings Inc. (AC Health), through its pharmaceutical arm AC Health Pharma, has entered into a partnership with Japan-based Taisho Pharmaceuticals to distribute healthcare products in the Philippines, BusinessWorld reported. Under the agreement, AC Health Pharma will carry Taisho products across its network of pharmacies, clinics, medical centers, and hospitals nationwide.
The partnership is expected to expand access to Japanese healthcare solutions in the Philippine market. Taisho Pharmaceuticals is known for its over-the-counter and prescription drugs, and AC Health aims to leverage its growing healthcare ecosystem to make these products more accessible to Filipino consumers.
AC Health, a subsidiary of Ayala Corp., has been expanding its presence in the local pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. The deal with Taisho aligns with its strategy to offer a broader range of quality healthcare products and services across the country.
