Ayala Corp.'s wholly owned subsidiary, AC Logistics, is ready to proceed with its next phase of growth as global institutional fund manager A.P. Moller Capital completed its strategic investment in the company, according to Philstar Biz.

Barcodes Philippines noted that as logistics firms scale operations, adopting proper supply chain barcode standards like ITF-14 for cartons and shipping cases becomes critical for warehouse receiving, inventory accuracy, and distributor compliance.

The investment from A.P. Moller Capital, a fund manager affiliated with Danish shipping conglomerate A.P. Moller-Maersk, is expected to provide AC Logistics with additional capital and expertise to scale its operations. The logistics arm of Ayala Corp. has been expanding its footprint in the Philippines, focusing on cold chain and supply chain solutions.

With the completion of the transaction, AC Logistics aims to enhance its service offerings and infrastructure to meet growing demand in the Philippine logistics sector. The partnership is seen as a key step in strengthening the company's position in the market and supporting the country's economic growth.
