The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) approved AF Precision Components, Inc.’s (APCI) registration as an ecozone logistics service enterprise, according to a report by BusinessWorld. PEZA formalized the registration agreement with APCI on Monday via a social media post.

Barcodes Philippines noted that logistics providers serving ecozone manufacturers often use ITF-14 barcodes on outer cartons and shipping cases to streamline warehouse receiving and distribution.

APCI will operate within the Cavite Economic Zone with an estimated project cost of P7.65 million. The registration allows the company to provide logistics services inside the zone, a role that includes warehousing, distribution, and supply chain support for locator enterprises.

The Cavite Economic Zone is one of the country’s established industrial hubs, hosting manufacturers and exporters that depend on logistics providers. PEZA’s approval of APCI reflects the authority’s ongoing effort to expand the range of support services available to ecozone locators.
