Apple dedicated a significant portion of its WWDC 2026 keynote to child safety, unveiling the most comprehensive parental control update to date. As reported by YugaTech, the new features in iOS 27 aim to give parents greater oversight and flexibility in managing their children's device usage.
The overhaul includes enhanced screen time controls, allowing parents to set more granular limits for specific apps and activities. Additionally, new communication safety tools will detect and blur sensitive images sent or received in Messages, expanding protections beyond the existing safeguards in the Photos app.
