Apple has quietly raised prices on several products in the Philippines, according to a report from YugaTech. The MacBook Neo saw the steepest increase, jumping to PHP 49,990, while MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iPad, and iPad Pro models also received price hikes.
The price adjustments come amid global supply chain challenges and a weakening Philippine peso against the US dollar. Import-dependent electronics typically see periodic price revisions, and Apple products are no exception. The exact percentage increases vary by model, but the MacBook Neo's PHP 4,000 jump from its previous price represents one of the largest.
For Filipino consumers, the higher prices may further stretch budgets already squeezed by inflation. The new pricing takes effect immediately, and existing stock at older prices may still be available at select retailers. Apple has not issued an official statement regarding the price changes.
