According to Philstar Biz, the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) has expanded its academic offerings with the establishment of a College of Law, marking the first and only state-funded legal education institution in the province.

The new college aims to provide accessible and affordable legal education to students in Bataan and nearby areas, addressing the gap in public law schools in the region. BPSU officials highlighted that the program aligns with the university's mission to produce competent legal professionals who can serve the local community.

The College of Law will offer a standard Juris Doctor curriculum, with classes set to begin in the upcoming academic year. The initiative is expected to reduce the financial burden on aspiring lawyers who previously had to enroll in private law schools or travel to other provinces for state-funded legal education.
