BSP trims BOP deficit forecasts for 2026, 2027
The Philippines may post narrower balance of payments deficits for the next two years than earlier expected, although elevated fuel costs, geopolitical tensions and uneven global growth are still seen weighing on the country’s external position, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said.
