Delta Air Lines announced Friday that it will launch a nonstop flight between Manila and Los Angeles in March 2027, positioning itself as the only U.S. carrier to offer direct service on the route, according to BusinessWorld.

The new route will strengthen connectivity between the Philippines and the United States, catering to both leisure and business travelers. Delta Vice President for Asia Pacific, Jeff Moomaw, said in a statement the airline looks forward to welcoming customers in the Philippines aboard its nonstop service to the U.S.

The Manila-Los Angeles flight is expected to operate several times a week using a Boeing 777 aircraft, pending regulatory approvals. Delta’s move comes amid growing demand for trans-Pacific travel and increased competition among carriers serving the Philippine market.
