The Philippines’ trilateral talks with the United States and Japan focused on maritime cooperation aimed at promoting a free Indo-Pacific, Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro said on Wednesday at the Nikkei Future of Asia forum, as reported by BusinessWorld.
Lazaro highlighted that the recent trilateral agreements with the US and Japan aim to bolster the Philippines' maritime security and economic resilience, ensuring stability in the region amid evolving geopolitical challenges.
