DHL has launched a new collection of accessories made from retired uniforms, created in collaboration with Hong Kong designer Eric Wong, as reported by Inside Retail Asia. The collection repurposes materials from DHL polo shirts and cargo pants that are no longer in use.
The initiative transforms retired workwear into fashion accessories, giving the garments a second life while reducing textile waste. Eric Wong, known for his sustainable design work, crafted the accessories from the logistics company's iconic yellow and red uniforms.
This move aligns with DHL's broader sustainability efforts, finding new uses for materials that would otherwise be discarded. The limited-edition accessories highlight how corporate uniforms can be upcycled into desirable consumer goods.
