The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will launch a P150-million shared service facility for micro, small, and medium enterprises’ (MSMEs) packing and labeling needs, according to a report by BusinessWorld. The facility, located in Butuan City in Mindanao, will serve as a One-Stop Printing Hub serving the Caraga Region.

The hub aims to streamline production processes for local MSMEs by providing access to professional packing and labeling services. This is expected to reduce costs and improve product presentation, helping small businesses compete more effectively in the market.

DTI officials highlighted the initiative as part of the agency’s broader efforts to support MSME development across the country. The Butuan facility is set to become operational later this year, benefiting enterprises in the Caraga region.
