Filipino workers are prepared for artificial intelligence adoption, but local businesses have yet to catch up, ASUS Co-CEO Samson Hu told Philstar Biz. Hu, who has a background in engineering, identified the enterprise AI gap as an organizational and structural bottleneck rather than a technological one.

According to Hu, the challenge lies in corporate readiness and structure, not in the technology itself. Companies need to realign processes and invest in upskilling to realize the full potential of AI tools, he said.

The remarks come as the Philippines pushes digital transformation across industries. While workers show enthusiasm for AI, enterprises must overcome structural hurdles to effectively integrate the technology into daily operations.
