Primate Labs has launched Geekbench 7, the latest version of its cross-platform benchmarking tool, as reported by YugaTech. The update brings new workloads and improved scoring to measure CPU and GPU performance more accurately on modern hardware.
Key additions in Geekbench 7 include new media workloads such as AV1 video encoding, Opus audio compression, and Whisper-powered live captions. These reflect real-world tasks that users may encounter, making benchmarks more relevant to current computing demands.
Geekbench 7 is now available for download on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. The new version also features a redesigned results browser and smarter GPU tests that scale across different devices.
