GLOBE TELECOM, Inc. said it plans to deepen its fiber footprint as part of efforts to sustain growth. The company disclosed its strategy in a statement, as reported by BusinessWorld.
“Our priority is to execute our plans well. We will deliver better customer experience through our digital platforms and serve products that are relevant through hyperpersonalization,” the company said. While continuing to expand its 5G network, Globe intends to increase its fiber infrastructure to support growing data demand and improve connectivity across the Philippines.
The move aligns with the telco’s broader push to strengthen its fixed-line broadband business amid rising competition. Globe’s fiber expansion is expected to enhance service reliability and enable faster internet speeds for residential and enterprise customers, further solidifying its position in the domestic telecommunications market.
