GoTyme Bank has surpassed 10 million users, a milestone underscored by its strategy of placing ATMs in retail locations, according to a report from Asian Banking & Finance.
The digital bank, a joint venture between the Gokongwei Group and Singapore's Tyme, has leveraged its partnership with Robinsons Retail to deploy over 600 ATMs in supermarkets, department stores, and other retail outlets across the Philippines. This physical presence has been key to driving user acquisition and engagement, offering customers convenient cash-in and cash-out services.
The 10-million user milestone positions GoTyme as one of the fastest-growing digital banks in the country, reflecting the broader trend of Filipinos adopting digital financial services. The bank's retail ATM strategy differentiates it from purely digital competitors by providing a hybrid model that combines online banking with physical touchpoints.
