Among the PSEi members, 15 stocks advanced while 14 declined and one remained unchanged. Top gainers included Bloomberry Resorts Corp. and Ayala Land Inc., while losers were led by SM Investments Corp. and BDO Unibank Inc. The mining and oil subindex posted the biggest drop.
Market analysts noted that investor sentiment was cautious ahead of the US Federal Reserve’s policy meeting. Total value turnover reached PHP 6.5 billion, lower than the previous day’s PHP 7.2 billion, indicating some profit-taking after recent gains.
