Human resource leaders in the Philippines remain wary of relying on artificial intelligence for final hiring decisions, with only 28 percent expressing confidence in using the technology for the task, according to a report from Philstar Biz citing global recruitment specialist Robert Walters.
The survey highlights persistent concerns among HR professionals about AI's reliability, bias, and lack of human judgment in evaluating candidates. Despite the growing adoption of AI tools in recruitment, most leaders prefer to keep humans in the loop for critical decisions.
Robert Walters noted that while AI can streamline resume screening and initial assessments, final hiring choices still require nuanced understanding of organizational culture and interpersonal dynamics, which technology currently cannot replicate.
