The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) is preparing a masterplan to accelerate the development of infrastructure that supports artificial intelligence (AI), according to a report by BusinessWorld .

Information and Communications Technology Secretary Henry Rhoel R. Aguda said the agency will hold a meeting this month to discuss regulation and policies related to AI. The masterplan aims to address the infrastructure needs that will enable the growth of AI technologies in the Philippines.
