The Luna Ultra features a Leica co-engineered dual-lens setup with a primary 1-inch sensor capable of 8K video at 30 fps and a secondary 1/1.3-inch telephoto sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It supports Dolby Vision, 10-bit I-Log capture, and up to 14 stops of dynamic range, with zoom reaching 12x total and 6x lossless. Advanced 3-axis stabilization complements the imaging hardware.
Designed for creator workflows, the gimbal camera includes a detachable OLED touchscreen, AI-powered Deep Track 5.0 subject tracking, and up to four hours of battery life. The Luna Ultra marks Insta360’s entry into the dedicated gimbal camera category, building on its existing imaging technology expertise.
