The International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) has issued a red notice against MFT Group of Companies CEO Maria Francesca Tan, who is being linked to a massive investment fraud, according to a report by Philstar Biz.

The red notice, which seeks Tan’s location and provisional arrest pending extradition, comes amid investigations into MFT Group’s investment scheme that allegedly defrauded thousands of investors. Authorities said the scheme promised high returns but collapsed, leaving victims with billions of pesos in losses.

Philippine law enforcement agencies are coordinating with Interpol to facilitate Tan’s capture. The case underscores the government’s intensified crackdown on fraudulent investment platforms preying on the public.
