Lenovo has announced it is delivering a near real-time AI-powered infrastructure platform for the FIFA World Cup 2026, according to TechPinas. The system aims to support broadcasting, operations, fan experiences, and tournament-wide technology management at an unprecedented global scale.

The infrastructure reduces IPTV broadcast delays to under five seconds, enabling synchronized viewing across more than 1,000 screens in FIFA venues. From the International Broadcast Center in Dallas to FIFA's Technology Command Center in Miami, Lenovo's enterprise solutions will monitor and manage critical tournament operations across three host countries and 48 competing teams.

AI-driven innovations including 3D player avatars, enhanced referee perspectives, intelligent venue navigation, and advanced analytics platforms are designed to make the tournament more immersive and transparent for fans, officials, and participants. The event is expected to engage an estimated six billion fans worldwide.
