Lenovo has announced that it is providing a near real-time AI-powered infrastructure platform for the FIFA World Cup 2026, according to TechPinas. The system is designed to support ultra-low-latency IPTV video distribution, intelligent content delivery, and mission-critical tournament operations across three host countries.

The AI infrastructure will reduce IPTV broadcast delays to under five seconds, enabling synchronized viewing on over 1,000 screens across FIFA venues. From the International Broadcast Center in Dallas to the Technology Command Center in Miami, Lenovo’s enterprise solutions will monitor and manage tournament technology to ensure reliable performance for 48 competing teams and an estimated six billion fans.

Fan experiences will include AI-driven innovations such as 3D player avatars, enhanced referee perspectives, intelligent venue navigation, and advanced analytics platforms. Lenovo’s technology aims to make the World Cup more immersive, transparent, and accessible for fans, officials, and teams.
