Lenovo has announced that it is delivering a near real-time AI-powered infrastructure platform for the FIFA World Cup 2026, according to TechPinas . The technology will support broadcasting, operations, and fan experiences across three host countries with 48 teams and an estimated six billion viewers.
The infrastructure reduces IPTV broadcast delays to under five seconds, enabling synchronized viewing across over 1,000 screens in venues. Lenovo will also operate AI Mission Control centers in Dallas and Miami to monitor and manage critical tournament operations.
AI-driven innovations include 3D player avatars, enhanced referee perspectives, intelligent venue navigation, and advanced analytics to make the tournament more immersive and accessible for fans, officials, and teams.
