Tropical Depression Henry has formed from a low pressure area and is expected to bring strong to gale-force winds to nearly 10 areas in Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Wednesday, as reported by BusinessWorld.
In an 11:00 a.m. press briefing, PAGASA stated that the storm was moving westward and might intensify further. The agency advised residents in affected areas to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides, as gale-force winds could damage structures and crops.
Henry is the third tropical cyclone to enter the Philippine area of responsibility this month. PAGASA continues to monitor the storm closely and will issue updates as necessary.
