Makati’s central business district (CBD) remained the country’s largest flexible office market in the first quarter, supported by rising demand for hybrid workspaces and expansion plans by operators, according to a report by property consultancy firm Savills Philippines, as cited by BusinessWorld.
According to Savills, the Makati CBD has 32 active flexible office sites, accommodating a range of occupier segments from cost-conscious users to premium corporate clients. The sustained demand reflects the continued shift toward hybrid work arrangements and operators’ confidence in the district’s office market.
The findings underscore Makati’s enduring appeal as a business hub, even as other areas like Bonifacio Global City and Ortigas Center compete for flexible office tenants. Industry analysts note that location, accessibility, and existing infrastructure remain key factors driving occupation in the CBD.
