Maya has partnered with the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) to expand digital access to government services for more than six million non-resident Filipinos and their families, according to a report by Philstar Biz.
Through the collaboration, overseas Filipinos will be able to access CFO services such as pre-departure orientation seminars, registration, and other government transactions via Maya's digital platform. The initiative aims to streamline processes and reduce the need for in-person visits to government offices.
The partnership is part of the government's broader push to digitize public services and improve financial inclusion for Filipinos abroad. Maya, a leading digital payments company in the Philippines, has been expanding its ecosystem beyond payments to include lifestyle and government services.
