Maya has introduced a new feature called Mini Payments, allowing its credit card holders to convert eligible posted transactions into monthly payment plans directly within the Maya app, as reported by TechPinas. The feature is available to Maya Black Credit Card and Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card holders, offering flexibility for large purchases such as travel, gadgets, and home upgrades.
Unlike traditional installment programs that require shoppers to select installment options at the point of sale or during promotional periods, Mini Payments allows users to apply for installment plans after the purchase has been completed. All management—from application and approval to tracking payments—can be handled within the Maya app, eliminating the need for extra paperwork or merchant-specific offers.
To encourage adoption, Maya is waiving processing fees for Mini Payment plans created until September 30, 2026. This limited-time offer makes the feature more attractive for cardholders looking to spread out costs without additional charges.
