Maya has introduced Mini Payments, a new feature allowing its credit card holders to convert eligible posted transactions into monthly installment plans directly within the Maya app. The feature aims to provide greater flexibility for managing larger expenses such as travel, gadgets, and home upgrades without requiring upfront planning or merchant-specific promotions, as reported by TechPinas.
Unlike traditional installment programs that require shoppers to choose installment terms at the point of sale or during promotional periods, Mini Payments allows cardholders to decide after the purchase has been completed. The application, approval, and payment tracking are all handled within the Maya app, eliminating the need for additional paperwork or pre-selection of participating merchants.
The feature is available to Maya Black Credit Card and Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card holders. As a limited-time promotion, cardholders who create Mini Payment plans until September 30, 2026 can enjoy zero processing fees, making it more attractive for larger purchases.
