Maya has introduced a new feature called Mini Payments, allowing credit card holders to convert eligible purchases into monthly installment plans after the transaction, as reported by TechPinas. The feature is available to Maya Black Credit Card and Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card holders, giving them greater flexibility for major expenses such as travel, gadgets, and home improvements.
Unlike traditional installment programs that require shoppers to select installment options at the point of sale or rely on specific merchant promotions, Mini Payments operates post-purchase. Cardholders can apply to convert a posted transaction into monthly payments directly within the Maya app, where they can also manage approval and track payments without additional paperwork.
To encourage adoption, Maya is waiving processing fees for Mini Payment plans created until September 30, 2026. This limited-time offer makes the feature particularly attractive for large, unplanned purchases, helping users spread costs over several months without added charges.
