Maynilad Water Services, Inc. is upgrading its Putatan water treatment plant in Muntinlupa City with ceramic membrane technology, BusinessWorld reported.
The company said it would replace part of its existing ultrafiltration membrane system at the Putatan plant with the new ceramic membrane technology, which is more durable and effective in handling variable water quality from Laguna Lake.
The upgrade is part of Maynilad's broader infrastructure modernization program to ensure reliable water supply for its customers in the west zone of Metro Manila.
