MSpectrum Inc., a subsidiary of Manila Electric Co. (Meralco), has entered a joint venture with two Tokyo-based firms to boost solar energy adoption among Japanese businesses operating in the Philippines, as reported by Philstar Biz.

The partnership will focus on developing rooftop solar installations and other renewable energy solutions tailored for Japanese companies in the country. MSpectrum, which specializes in energy efficiency and renewable projects, aims to leverage the expertise of its Japanese partners to expand its offerings in the commercial and industrial segment.

The move aligns with the Philippine government's push for greater renewable energy adoption and supports the sustainability goals of Japanese firms operating locally. Financial terms of the venture were not disclosed.
