Moderno is expanding its retail presence in the Philippines, citing strong demand for smart home products. The company announced plans to open new stores in key metro areas, aiming to make its lineup of connected devices more accessible to consumers. The expansion comes as Filipino households increasingly adopt home automation solutions for convenience and energy efficiency. InsiderPH reported.

The retailer will add physical outlets in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao, with more locations planned by year-end. Each store will feature interactive showrooms where customers can test smart lighting, security cameras, and voice-controlled assistants. Moderno is also ramping up online channels to complement its brick-and-mortar push.

Industry analysts note that the Philippine smart home market is projected to grow at over 15% annually, driven by rising internet penetration and a young, tech-savvy population. Moderno's expansion positions it to capture a larger share of this segment as competition heats up with both local and international brands.
