MPower, a retail electricity supplier, has been tapped to supply power to Calamba Medical Center in Laguna, according to a report by Inquirer.net .
The agreement covers the hospital's electricity needs under the Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) framework, which allows large consumers to choose their power supplier. MPower will provide competitive rates and reliable service to the medical facility.
MPower is a unit of Meralco, the country's largest power distributor. The deal is expected to help Calamba Medical Center manage its energy costs amid rising electricity prices.
