Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) will resume weekly flights to Dubai starting October, with plans to increase gradually to a daily service as soon as operational conditions are normal, Philstar Biz reported.
The route resumption comes as international travel demand recovers, with the Middle East remaining a key destination for overseas Filipino workers. PAL had suspended Manila-Dubai operations during the pandemic and has been gradually restoring its network.
The airline did not specify an exact date for the flight resumption but indicated that frequency would be increased as conditions allow. PAL's return to Dubai adds to the growing list of restored international routes as the aviation sector continues its recovery.
