The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) has partnered with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) under the bank’s Lending Initiatives for MSMEs (Lifting MSMEs) program, according to a report by BusinessWorld. The collaboration aims to improve access to capital for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.
PCCI President Ferdinand A. Ferrer announced the tie-up in a social media post on Thursday, stating that the financing program will help the organization achieve its goal of supporting member firms. The program is expected to provide MSMEs with more accessible and affordable credit, addressing a common barrier to growth for small businesses.
LANDBANK’s Lifting MSMEs program is part of the government’s broader effort to bolster the MSME sector, which accounts for a significant portion of the Philippine economy. The partnership underscores the role of financial institutions and business chambers in fostering entrepreneurship and economic resilience.
