Listed Philippine Seven Corp. (PSC) is prioritizing the expansion of its 7-Eleven convenience store network in the Visayas and Mindanao (VisMin), where sales have outperformed other regions, according to a report by BusinessWorld.

The company is working toward its target of 5,000 stores, with VisMin accounting for a growing share of its network. PSC noted that the percentage of stores in VisMin has been increasing as the region delivers stronger sales performance compared to Luzon.

The expansion strategy underscores PSC's confidence in the economic potential of VisMin, which has been a key growth driver for the convenience store chain. The company did not provide a specific timeline for reaching the 5,000-store milestone.
