Philippine Seven Corp. (PSC), the local licensee of 7-Eleven convenience stores, said it is prioritizing expansion in the Visayas and Mindanao (VisMin) regions, according to a report by BusinessWorld Online. The company plans to open new outlets in key cities across the two regions to tap growing consumer demand.

PSC President and CEO Jose Victor P. Paterno said the company sees strong growth potential outside Metro Manila, particularly in provincial areas where retail spending is rising. The VisMin expansion is part of a broader strategy to increase PSC’s store count nationwide, with a target of reaching 4,000 outlets by 2025.

The move aligns with the company’s long-term goal to strengthen its presence in underserved markets. PSC currently operates over 3,500 stores in the Philippines, mostly in Luzon. The VisMin expansion aims to balance its geographic footprint and capture emerging opportunities in the retail sector.
