The Department of Transportation (DoTr) said it wants to expand flights between the Philippines and Oman, and hopes to enhance the current air service agreement, according to a report by BusinessWorld.
The proposed bilateral air talks aim to provide overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) with more options for direct, convenient, and affordable travel between the two countries. The DoTr is committed to expanding air links to improve connectivity and support the needs of Filipino workers in Oman.
Enhancing the air service agreement could also boost tourism and trade ties between the Philippines and Oman, benefiting both economies. The timeline for the talks has not been disclosed.
