Inside Retail Asia reports on Prada Group’s financial results following its acquisition of Versace, describing a mixed outcome for the luxury conglomerate.
Versace itself contributed €305 million in net revenues, roughly a tenth of the group total. That figure includes €219 million generated through the brand’s own retail stores, according to the report.
The contrast between topline growth and margin dilution underscores the challenges of integrating a major fashion house into a larger group, as Prada manages Versace’s costs and store operations alongside its existing brands.
