Avery Dennison has introduced the ADTP2 EcoCut printer, a new thermal transfer printer designed for label printing with reduced material waste. According to a report from Google News — retail barcodes, the printer features an EcoCut technology that precisely cuts labels on demand, eliminating gaps between labels and thus saving liner material.

The ADTP2 EcoCut is also marketed for its quieter operation, making it suitable for retail and logistics environments where noise reduction is valued. The printer supports standard label formats and can be integrated into existing tracking and inventory systems.

This launch comes as companies seek more sustainable packaging and labeling solutions. By reducing label waste and energy consumption, the ADTP2 EcoCut aligns with broader industry trends toward leaner supply chain operations and automated identification systems.
