Smart Communications has partnered with cloud gaming platform Blacknut to bring console-quality gaming to more Filipinos, according to TechPinas. Under the arrangement, Smart and TNT subscribers can stream over 1,000 premium games directly on their smartphones through a mobile browser, without needing a console, a high-end gaming PC, or lengthy downloads.
Access starts at PHP 145 per week. Subscribers can register using their Smart or TNT mobile number, pay through prepaid load, complete a quick OTP verification, and start playing within seconds. Because the games run on cloud servers and stream to the device in real time, users avoid large file downloads, installation wait times, and storage constraints.
The partnership leverages Smart's mobile network to provide low-latency connectivity and a smoother gaming experience. It also expands Smart's lineup of digital services, making premium gaming more accessible to Filipino players as smartphone-based gaming continues to evolve.
