The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) said it is positioning the Port of Subic Bay as the primary entry and exit point for logistics and technology investments under the Pax Silica initiative, BusinessWorld reported.

In a social media post on Monday, the BCDA said it signed a partnership with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) designating the port as the main gateway for the trade initiative.

The designation aims to boost Subic's role as a logistics hub, leveraging its strategic location to support the growing demand for technology and supply chain services under the Pax Silica framework.
