Taylor Farms has recalled select lettuce products over concerns of cyclospora parasite contamination, according to IndyStar. The recall affects multiple brands and varieties of salad blends sold in several states.

Cyclospora cayetanensis is a microscopic parasite that can cause intestinal illness, with symptoms including diarrhea, stomach cramps, and nausea. The FDA and CDC are investigating the outbreak linked to these products.

Indiana has reported cases associated with the contaminated lettuce. Consumers are advised to check product labels and dispose of any recalled items. Retailers have been instructed to remove affected products from shelves.
