Listed fuel retailer Top Line Business Development Corp. is targeting about one-third of Cebu’s motorcycle taxi fuel market through a partnership with ride-hailing platform Angkas, according to a statement reported by BusinessWorld.
Under the deal, Top Line will supply fuel to Angkas motorcycle taxi drivers at its stations in Cebu, aiming to increase daily fuel sales and expand its retail presence. The company did not disclose specific volume targets but said the partnership will leverage Angkas’s large driver network to boost foot traffic and loyalty.
The move comes as Top Line seeks to strengthen its retail fuel business amid competition from larger players. Cebu, a key economic hub, has a growing motorcycle taxi market driven by urban mobility demand, making it an attractive segment for fuel retailers.
