Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially launched the Land Cruiser HEV in the local market, with pricing starting at PHP 6.93 million, as reported by TechPinas. The hybrid electric variant, first previewed during the 10th Philippine International Motor Show, goes on sale starting June 24, combining the legendary SUV’s off-road capability with Toyota’s latest electrified powertrain.

The Land Cruiser HEV reflects Toyota’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions while preserving the model’s seven-decade heritage of durability and reliability. The nameplate traces its roots to the 1951 Jeep BJ, evolving into a global symbol of toughness, and has maintained a passionate following in the Philippines since the arrival of the Land Cruiser 80 in 1990.

With the introduction of the hybrid variant, TMP expands its electrified vehicle lineup in the country, offering customers a wider range of mobility solutions. The Land Cruiser HEV retains the platform’s proven performance while adding fuel efficiency and lower emissions, positioning it as a premium choice for Filipino SUV enthusiasts.
