Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) officially launched the hybrid electric vehicle variant of the Land Cruiser in the local market, with prices starting at PHP 6.93 million. As reported by TechPinas, the SUV is now available for purchase beginning June 24. It was first previewed during the 10th Philippine International Motor Show.

The Toyota Land Cruiser HEV combines the SUV's legendary durability, off-road capability, and heritage with Toyota's latest hybrid electric vehicle technology. The Land Cruiser lineage dates back to 1951 with the Jeep BJ, evolving over seven decades into a global symbol of toughness and reliability. In the Philippines, the model has enjoyed a passionate following since the arrival of the Land Cruiser 80 in 1990.

The introduction of the hybrid variant reflects Toyota's commitment to offering a wider range of mobility solutions while helping reduce carbon emissions through electrified vehicle technologies. The Land Cruiser HEV maintains the qualities that have made it one of the most respected SUVs in automotive history, now with improved fuel efficiency and lower environmental impact.
