Visa announced that its debit and credit cardholders in the Philippines can now add their cards to Apple Pay, according to a report by YugaTech.

The integration enables Visa cardholders to make secure, contactless payments using their iPhone or Apple Watch at participating merchants. By adding their Visa cards to the Apple Wallet app, users can pay with a simple tap, offering a faster and more convenient alternative to physical cards.

The move aligns with the growing adoption of digital and contactless payments in the Philippines, a trend accelerated by the shift toward cashless transactions. It also reflects the ongoing collaboration between global payment networks and technology companies to broaden payment acceptance. With this development, Visa becomes one of the payment networks supporting Apple Pay in the country.
