‘Weak peso may erode appeal of Philippines bonds to foreign funds’
With the peso emerging as the worst performing currency in Asia, rising currency risk could dim the appeal of Philippine bonds to foreign investors, potentially offsetting their yield advantage and pushing investors to demand a higher risk premium, Manulife Investments Philippines said.
