ABS-CBN Corp. has signed a content partnership with over-the-top platform Rakuten Viki, allowing the Philippine media giant to reach new viewers in more than 200 countries and territories, Philstar Biz reported.

The partnership will see ABS-CBN’s Filipino content, including dramas, movies, and variety shows, made available on Rakuten Viki’s streaming service, which specializes in Asian entertainment. The deal expands ABS-CBN’s digital footprint beyond its existing platforms and regional cable affiliates.

The move comes as ABS-CBN continues to pursue international audiences after losing its free-to-air franchise in the Philippines in 2020. Rakuten Viki operates in over 190 countries and offers subtitled content in multiple languages, aligning with ABS-CBN’s goal of reaching the global Filipino diaspora and fans of Filipino pop culture.
